Pregnancy & Your Pelvis

Free Community Workshop – 1st Tuesday of Every Month at 6 PM

Location: Structural Chiropractic, 807 Heretaunga St East, Hastings

What You’ll Learn

Pregnancy changes everything — including how your spine and pelvis work together.
This workshop helps you understand those changes and what you can do to support your body through each stage.

You’ll discover:

  • How your pelvis works and why its position affects both comfort and birth.

  • The most common structural shifts that create back pain, pelvic pain, or sciatica during pregnancy.

  • Simple daily movements and positions that make pregnancy easier and prepare your body for labour.

  • Exercises and stretches to keep your spine mobile and balanced.

  • When pain is not “just part of pregnancy” and what you can do about it.

Who It’s For

This class is for expecting mums who want:

  • A comfortable pregnancy

  • A smoother labour

  • A faster recovery after birth

Partners are encouraged to attend.

Who We Are

Led by Dr Ryno Tope and the Structural Chiropractic team. We Focus on Structural Correction — identifying and correcting underlying shifts in the spine and pelvis that affect how your body functions, adapts, and heals.

What to Expect

  • 60–75 minute interactive session

  • Practical demonstrations

  • Time for questions and discussion

If you are experiencing pain in your pelvis we  recommend an initial consult with one of our Chiropractors sooner rather than later. Pain is often a sign of loss of function and movement. Movement you will most likely need during labour.
